My former senator has now officially deserted me….

Sen. Joe Lieberman (”CT for meeeee” Party-CT) has admitted the obvious:

“I am not going to attend the Democratic Convention for obvious reasons,” Lieberman said.

“Suh-prahhhz, suh-prahhhz”.

I never did like him anyway.  I thought that Lowell Weicker had far more principle and integrity in his little finger than Lieberman had in his entire body.  Which, I guess, is why Republicans liked Lieberman more than their own Senator Weicker and torpedoed Weicker, and why they shelled out money to get Lieberman in against Lamont.

So can we stop pretending thet Lieberman’s a Democrat now?

    Say, IC we’re overloaded with physiologists (past and present) here (I was in neurophysiology in a past life. and I think Ondolette is also quasi-neuro).

    You snagged Ondolette, IC; I was thinking of asking him if he wanted to help keep Least Dangerous Branch moving when I got too tied down to post (but I’ve been pretty proxil lately, so maybe best he’s here).

    And what a pleasure to see Austin Cline on board; he’s one of my favourites from way back when in the Bay Area….
